Meet Tracy, a Speech-Language Pathologist with the McKibben & Monte team in Columbus. Tracy earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Miami University and her Master of Arts in Speech and Hearing Science from The Ohio State University. With specialties in autism, early intervention, and early language, she is passionate about helping young children build the skills they need to communicate with confidence.
Tracy loves working with children, and her favorite part of being a therapist is building their confidence while also collaborating with parents. When beginning therapy with a new child, Tracy focuses on showing them she cares and reassuring them that their time together will be fun. This playful, supportive approach motivates children to engage, listen, and learn while addressing the whole child’s needs.
Inspired by her personal motto to “be the reason someone smiles today,” Tracy strives to bring that same encouragement and positivity into each session. She also carries her love of books into therapy, often drawing on favorites like The Day the Crayons Quit by Drew Daywalt—a hit with her own children. Her personal favorite from childhood, The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein, continues to shape the compassionate perspective she brings to her work.
Outside of her professional life, Tracy treasures time with her family, whether on vacations, walking with friends, or playing with the family dog, Bailey. With her warmth, expertise, and genuine dedication, Tracy helps children feel supported, empowered, and ready to grow.
