Meet Tori.
Tori Belcher, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a Speech-Language Pathologist with the McKibben & Monte team in Jacksonville, Florida. She earned her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Florida State University and is passionate about helping children develop the communication skills they need to succeed in school, build relationships, and confidently express themselves. Her areas of expertise include articulation, expressive and receptive language delays, autism-related communication differences, phonological disorders, stuttering, and academic language development.
Tori’s favorite part of being a therapist is the meaningful connections she builds with her students and their families. She finds tremendous joy in watching children work hard, overcome challenges, and achieve goals that once seemed out of reach. For Tori, the small victories are often the most meaningful, because she knows those moments build toward lasting growth and confidence. Being part of that journey is what makes her work so rewarding.
Before becoming a speech-language pathologist, Tori worked as a teacher, where she frequently supported students with speech and language difficulties. Through those experiences, she saw firsthand the powerful impact communication skills have on a child’s academic success, social relationships, and overall confidence. Inspired by the progress her students made and wanting to help children more directly, she pursued a career in speech-language pathology.
When beginning with a new child, Tori focuses on building rapport and learning what motivates them. She understands that every child is unique and takes time to discover their interests, strengths, and personality. By structuring therapy sessions around activities that are engaging and meaningful to the child, she creates an environment where learning feels natural, enjoyable, and effective.
Tori is especially passionate about helping children develop the communication skills they need to participate fully in their daily lives. Whether she is supporting speech sound production, language development, fluency, social communication, or literacy-related skills, she approaches every session with patience, encouragement, and a commitment to individualized care.
Outside of work, Tori enjoys spending time with family and friends and embracing the opportunities that come with living in sunny Florida. Her warm, relationship-driven approach and dedication to helping children succeed make her a valued member of the McKibben & Monte team and a trusted partner for the families she serves.
