Meet Stacie, a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist on the McKibben & Monte team in Tampa. With a Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of South Florida, Stacie brings a wealth of expertise to her work, specializing in articulation, phonology, apraxia, preschool language, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).
Stacie’s favorite part of being a therapist is seeing children’s confidence soar as they learn to communicate their thoughts, feelings, and ideas effectively. She first felt the pull toward speech therapy during her undergraduate studies, while working as a teacher’s assistant in a preschool for children with developmental delays and disabilities. This experience sparked her passion for helping children find their voice.
In her work, Stacie uses literacy and play-based learning to build trust and create an engaging, safe environment for children. By incorporating each child’s unique interests, she makes learning fun and meaningful, ensuring that every child feels seen, heard, and valued.
Outside of work, Stacie enjoys stand-up paddle boarding, barre classes, and traveling. She treasures time with her family, friends, and pets. Her favorite children’s book is Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown, and as a child, she loved Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss. Stacie’s warmth, creativity, and dedication make her an invaluable part of the McKibben & Monte team.
