About our therapist...

  • Sara’s favorite part of being a therapist is supporting children in making meaningful connections through communication.
  • She was inspired to pursue speech pathology by her younger siblings. Two of her sisters have Down syndrome, one sister is very verbal and the other has apraxia of speech, uses a communication device and has complex communication needs. Sara has two brothers with IEPs related to articulation needs. Consequently, speech therapists have made huge impacts in her family’s lives.
  • Sara enjoys music, sunsets, and her cat. And her favorite family activity is taking vacations to St. Augustine, Florida.
  • Her favorite children’s books are the Old Lady books.
  • Sara’s favorite quote is “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” – MLK Jr.
