Meet Molly, a Speech-Language Pathologist with the McKibben & Monte team in Columbus. Molly earned both her Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology and her Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Miami University. She specializes in working with children in the areas of autism, phonology, and preschool/early intervention, supporting families during some of the most critical years of development.
Molly’s favorite part of being a therapist is developing lasting relationships with kids and families and celebrating their progress over time. Her passion for the field began while she was in college, working as a summer camp counselor for children with special and medical needs. That experience inspired her to pursue a career where she could combine her love of helping children with her interest in communication and development.
When beginning therapy with a new child, Molly focuses on building rapport by learning about their interests and favorite activities. This meaningful connection lays the foundation for therapy sessions that are engaging, motivating, and effective. Her favorite children’s book to share is Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? by Eric Carle, and as a child, she loved One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish by Dr. Seuss.
Outside of work, Molly enjoys boating, skiing, and spending time with her family on the lake. She also loves to cook and experiment with new recipes, and you can often find her hiking, walking, or reading in her free time. With her approachable, thoughtful style and strong clinical expertise, Molly is dedicated to helping children thrive through meaningful communication and developmental support.
