Meet Molly, a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist with the McKibben & Monte team in Cincinnati. Molly holds a Master of Arts in Speech Language Pathology and a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders, both from the University of Cincinnati. Her work is driven by a passion for helping children communicate effectively and confidently.

Molly’s favorite part of being a therapist is witnessing that “click” moment when a child finally masters a skill they’ve been working on. She loves celebrating these achievements with her clients, sharing in their pride and excitement. Molly also finds fulfillment in seeing children express themselves with more ease, reducing their frustration and helping them connect with others.

Inspired to pursue speech therapy after shadowing professionals in the field, Molly was drawn to the way therapy allows her to make a lasting impact on a child’s life while having fun along the way. Her approach to therapy is rooted in building rapport—she starts each session by engaging with a toy or activity, allowing her to connect with the child before diving into targeted work.

A professional accomplishment that stands out for Molly is seeing a child transition from having limited intelligible speech to reaching age-appropriate communication through motor planning strategies. Seeing the child’s reduced frustration and the joy of his mother was incredibly rewarding for her.

In her free time, Molly enjoys golfing, trying new restaurants around Cincinnati, and spending quality time with family and friends. Her favorite children’s book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle, and as a child, she was captivated by The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg. With her supportive approach and dedication to celebrating every milestone, Molly brings warmth and expertise to the McKibben & Monte team.
