Meet Meghan, a Speech-Language Pathologist with the McKibben & Monte team in Columbus. Meghan earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology, with a minor in Child Studies, from Miami University, and her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Pittsburgh. Her areas of specialty include language, literacy, articulation, autism, and early intervention, allowing her to support children and families across a wide range of developmental needs.
For Meghan, the most rewarding part of being a therapist is watching children’s confidence bloom as they become stronger communicators. She loves being able to combine her creative energy with her passion for literacy and play-based learning, creating sessions that are both fun and effective. Meghan was inspired to pursue speech-language pathology because of her love for connecting with people of all ages, and she finds immense joy in helping children discover the power of communication and self-expression.
She considers her greatest professional accomplishment to be the lasting relationships she has built with her clients and their families over the years. These connections are a meaningful reminder of the impact that therapy can have, not just in the moment, but for a lifetime.
At home, Meghan enjoys reading bedtime stories to her three boys. Her favorite childhood book was The Jolly Postman by Janet and Allan Ahlberg, a story she now loves sharing with her own children. Some of her most cherished travel memories are summer vacations spent in Montana with her family, a tradition she’s proud to pass along to her children today.
With her creativity, compassion, and dedication to empowering children through communication, Meghan is a valued member of the McKibben & Monte team.
