Kaitlyn Turner, MS, CCC-SLP

Speech Language Pathologist

Meet Kaitlyn, a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist on the McKibben & Monte team in Jacksonville. Kaitlyn earned her Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Tennessee and her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Specializing in pediatrics, Autism Spectrum Disorder, feeding/swallowing therapy, speech sound disorders, and early language development, she is passionate about supporting each child’s unique needs.

Kaitlyn’s favorite part about being a therapist is working with kids who have a variety of needs and discovering the best ways to support their individual journeys. Inspired by shadowing a local SLP conducting MBSS studies with stroke patients, she was captivated by the wide range of populations that speech-language pathologists serve—and she knew she wanted to be a part of that transformative work.

When Kaitlyn begins working with a child, she takes the time to learn about their interests, favorite toys, songs, and the family’s goals for therapy. This personalized, play-based approach creates a warm, engaging environment where children feel encouraged to grow and express themselves.

Her favorite children’s book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle, and as a child, she delighted in reading Hop on Pop by Dr. Seuss. When she’s not working, Kaitlyn loves spending time with her family and dogs, reading, visiting the beach, and enjoying delicious food. With her caring spirit and individualized approach, Kaitlyn is committed to helping every child find their voice and thrive.
