Meet Jamie, a Speech-Language Pathologist with the McKibben & Monte team in Cleveland. Jamie earned dual bachelor’s degrees from the University of Cincinnati in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Psychology, before completing her Master of Arts in Communication Sciences at Case Western Reserve University. With a strong foundation in both communication and child development, she brings knowledge, warmth, and energy to every session.

Jamie adores working with her clients and their families, finding joy in a career where she gets to laugh every single day. She loves seeing each child’s unique personality shine and takes pride in watching their confidence grow throughout the therapy process. Inspired to pursue speech therapy after shadowing a family friend who was a pediatric SLP, Jamie knew immediately that this was the right path for her—changing her college major from pharmacy that very same day.

Her therapeutic approach is centered on following the child’s cues. Jamie believes that child-led play is one of the best ways to connect, build trust, and create an engaging environment where learning happens naturally. This approach allows her to tailor therapy to each child’s interests and strengths, making progress both fun and meaningful.

Jamie is inspired by the quote, “Do small things with great love,” which reflects the heart she puts into her work. Outside of her professional role, she loves spending time with her family. Together, they nurture her young daughter’s love of animals with trips to the zoo, rainforest, and aquarium, and are happily adjusting to life as a family of four with their newest baby girl.

With her joyful spirit, child-centered approach, and dedication to building confidence through communication, Jamie is a valued part of the McKibben & Monte team.
