Occupational Therapist

Meet Elizabeth.

Elizabeth Fedor, OTR/L, is an Occupational Therapist with the McKibben & Monte team in Cleveland. A graduate of The Ohio State University, Elizabeth is passionate about helping children develop the skills, confidence, and independence they need to thrive in their everyday lives. Her areas of expertise include early intervention, handwriting and fine motor skills, sensory processing differences, social pragmatics and play skills, self-care development, and emotional regulation.

Elizabeth’s favorite part of being a pediatric occupational therapist is using creative, play-based interventions to help children build meaningful life skills and achieve their individual goals. She loves watching children gain confidence as they master new challenges and discover what they are capable of accomplishing.

When working with a child, Elizabeth takes a strengths-based approach, focusing first on understanding the child’s unique abilities, interests, and personality. She believes every child brings valuable strengths to the therapy process, and she uses those strengths as a foundation for growth. Building trust and rapport is always her first priority, creating a supportive environment where children feel comfortable, motivated, and ready to learn.

As an early intervention specialist, Elizabeth works closely with families to develop practical strategies that support a child’s growth within their natural environments. She understands that meaningful progress happens not only during therapy sessions but also through everyday routines and experiences. By partnering with parents and caregivers, she helps children develop skills that carry over into home, school, and community settings.

Elizabeth is especially passionate about helping children navigate developmental challenges related to fine motor coordination, sensory processing, emotional regulation, social interactions, and independence with daily activities. Her goal is always to empower children and families with tools and strategies that support long-term success.

With her compassionate nature, collaborative approach, and commitment to child-centered care, Elizabeth helps children build the confidence and skills they need to participate more fully in the activities that matter most to them.
