Meet Abby, a passionate and dedicated speech language pathologist at McKibben and Monte in Tampa, Florida. Abby finds immense joy in witnessing children’s language blossom through playful interactions and activities. Inspired by her own daughter, she embarked on a journey into speech therapy, driven by a desire to work with children and support their developmental journey. Abby’s approach is rooted in introducing play-based activities to foster functional communication right from the start.
Abby specializes in pediatrics and autism spectrum disorder.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Abby finds solace in the pages of children’s books, with favorites like “The Good Egg” by Jory John and “The Color Monster” by Anna Llenas. Fond childhood memories of reading “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” by Eric Carle still hold a special place in her heart.
When Abby isn’t immersed in the world of speech therapy, she indulges in hot yoga sessions, finding rejuvenation in the heat and movement. As the fall breeze rolls in, you can often find her on the soccer field in the park, enjoying a spirited game with her family. With her vibrant energy and genuine passion for helping children thrive, Abby is a valued member of our team, dedicated to making a difference in every child’s life.
