Olivia was inspired to pursue speech pathology after growing up next to her cousin, Andrew, who was born with acute special needs. From that point on she knew she wanted to be a therapist.
Her favorite part about being a therapist is developing engaging and functional therapy plans to help her students and patients progress. Her primary approach to therapy when first working with a child is to meet with the parents to develop a treatment plan together. She feels it is important to incorporate the family’s goals in the child’s therapy.
Olivia specializes in articulation and autism.
When she’s not at work, Olivia seeks out the two things that make her happiest: sunshine and warm weather.
