Dawn was inspired to pursue occupational therapy by her desire to make connections with others, hear their stories, and problem-solve the barriers that are preventing them from experiencing their lives fully.
Her favorite part about being an Occupational Therapist is the opportunity to make a difference in lives and being part of that progress, no matter how big or small. Her primary approach to therapy when first working with a child is a therapeutic use of self. She focuses on their goals through conversation and engaging activity to build a relationship. Dawn specializes in Orthopedics, Neurology,
Acute and Critical Care, and Behavioral Health.
When she is not working, Dawn loves scrapbooking spending time with her four children, husband and extended family. They particularly love camping and boating as a family.
