Occupational Therapist

Meet Danielle, a dedicated Occupational Therapist with the McKibben & Monte team in Jacksonville. Danielle holds a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Davenport University and a Bachelor of Science in Movement and Sport Science from Purdue University, specializing in pediatric care.

Danielle’s favorite part of her work is witnessing the joy on a child’s face when they master a new skill or accomplish a task they once thought was out of reach. Her passion for helping others and making a difference in the lives of families inspired her to pursue occupational therapy. She thrives on those moments when a seemingly small achievement means the world to a family.

When beginning therapy with a child, Danielle focuses on building a strong rapport with both the child and their family. By taking a play-based approach and tailoring activities to each child’s unique interests, she creates a nurturing environment where therapy feels fun and empowering.

Danielle’s favorite children’s book is You Are Special by Max Lucado, a reminder of the value of every individual, while as a child she loved reading Rufferella by Mandy Stanley and Vanessa Gill-Brown. Outside of work, Danielle enjoys family walks, trips to the beach where she delights in watching her kids run in the sand and jump in the waves, and she’s even taken up making sourdough bread as her current hobby.
