After spending time teaching, Brindy decided to transition to Occupational Therapy, because it allows her to work more holistically with children. She works to help children target their functional skills to facilitate independence and provide increased access to meaningful occupations.
Brindy is motivated by empowering children through play-based therapeutic activities to increase their independence and quality of life.
Brindy is a highly accomplished occupational therapist. In addition to her
degree in Elementary Education, she is trained in Sensory Diet Development, Astronaut Training: A Sound Activated Vestibular Visual Protocol, Autism: Across the Spectrum, Caregiver Led Therapy, Pediatric Teletherapy, and Supporting Functional Development in Early Intervention.
Brindy specializes in Reading Education and Foundations, Sensory Integrations & Regulation, Pediatric Yoga and Mindfulness, and Social Skills Development.
When she’s not working, Brindy enjoys yoga, pilates, riding her bicycle, playing board games, traveling, and spending time with her friends, her family, and her dog, Zoey.
