Allie Flanigan, M.A., CCC-SLP

Speech Language Pathologist

Alie was inspired to pursue speech pathology when her grandma had a stroke that caused aphasia and limited verbal output. Watching the speech language pathologist work with her grandma to find a way to meaningfully communicate with her loved ones left a lasting impression on Alie.

Allie’s favorite part about being a therapist is how functional and meaningful her work is! She loves being able to watch her students apply a skill they worked on during therapy when communicating in the classroom or with a friend. Alie also takes a personal investment with her children, knowing that it’s important to know what the child’s interests and strengths are so she can craft their sessions to be enjoyable, meaningful, and fun.

When she is not working, Allie loves to read and play sand volleyball with her friends.
