About Us

At McKibben & Monte Pediatric Therapy, every child’s journey is personal, and every success story begins with care, connection, and confidence. Founded in 2018 by Cindy McKibben and Jenny Monte, our practice was born from a shared vision: to make high-quality pediatric therapy more accessible, compassionate, and effective for families.

What began as two small private practices merging with a mission has grown into one of the region’s most trusted therapy networks, recognized by Columbus Business First’s 2025 Fast 50 for our purpose-driven growth and community impact.

Our Mission

To build children’s confidence through language, literacy, and learning, empowering them to communicate, connect, and succeed in every part of life.

We believe therapy should never feel out of reach. That’s why our model brings therapy directly into schools, daycares, and community spaces, ensuring families experience convenience without compromise.

Our Story of Growth

From a handful of therapists in Central Ohio to a team of over 75 professionals serving nearly 100 schools and daycares across Ohio, Kentucky, Florida, and Michigan, McKibben & Monte has grown year after year by staying focused on what matters most: children and families.

We’ve built our foundation on accessibility, early intervention, and collaboration, with steady expansion guided by our belief that families deserve timely, effective, and compassionate care close to home.

What Sets Us Apart

  • Family-Centered Convenience – We meet children where they are, school, daycare, or home, to reduce stress and improve engagement.
  • Expanded Access to Care – While many communities face long waitlists, McKibben & Monte often begins services within days, not months.
  • Comprehensive Support – From speech and occupational therapy to feeding support, literacy, and sensory integration, we address the whole child.
  • Professional Development & Education – Beyond therapy, we invest in educating therapists, teachers, and families, offering workshops, professional learning, and resources to build stronger networks of support.
  • Innovation & Technology – Our modern EMR and patient portal make communication and coordination seamless, allowing families to stay informed and engaged.

Our Commitment to Growth and Community

Each new market represents more than expansion, it’s an opportunity to serve. In Florida, our comprehensive therapy programs set us apart, combining clinical excellence with ongoing professional education and family engagement. In 2025, we proudly entered Michigan while deepening our footprint across Ohio and Florida.

We’re also broadening our reach into home-schooling communities, offering therapy solutions designed around the child’s comfort and the family’s rhythm, because progress happens best in safe, familiar spaces.

Our Team

McKibben & Monte is powered by a team of exceptional speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and behavior specialists who believe in the impact of early intervention and collaborative care. Together, we bring creativity, compassion, and expertise to every child’s journey, celebrating progress at every step.

Looking Ahead

As a privately held, women-owned company, we’re committed to thoughtful, strategic growth that never loses sight of our mission. Every milestone we reach allows us to serve more children, support more families, and strengthen more communities across the Midwest and Southeast.

Growth with purpose. Care with heart. That’s the McKibben & Monte difference.
