Meghan loves watching people beam with joy when they’re able to solve problems and overcome challenges. That’s why she pursued occupational therapy.
Meghan lets her students lead the first couple rounds of therapy, which lets the child share their interests and preferences. Before anything else, Meghan needs the child to understand they are accepted as they are and know that they are whole without having to “be” any particular way. This becomes the foundation of their therapy sessions.
When she is not working, Meghan is most happy snuggling under blankets on the couch with her family. She turns to baking if she needs some cheer, and she loves to visit King’s Island with her family.
