Leah has always been a people person and tended to want to help and heal others. That’s why occupational therapy is a perfect fit. She loves that OT is holistic and that it focuses on treating the whole child and works from strengths instead of deficits. Leah’s aunt is an OTA and taught her about OT and all the therapeutic benefits it can have on clients and their families.
Her favorite part about being a therapist is watching the kids become independent and participate in everyday tasks while also helping both the kids and their families reach milestones. Leah specializes in social emotional skills and picky eating.
She loves traveling and being outdoors- hiking, kayaking, and walking her dog. We’re grateful that Leah veered from her childhood dreams of being a veterinarian.
