Working as an assistant teacher at a school for autism gave Erin her first exposure to the field of speech language pathology. She was so inspired by how meaningful and impactful the work was, as well as the close personal connection therapists had with their students and families. Finding ways to help children improve their communication skills is life changing.
As a therapist, Erin’s first goal is to build a relationship. Establishing a trusting, child-centered, and positive reinforcement-based environment is a key part of her therapy sessions. Erin specializes in autism, early intervention, and late language emergence.
When she is not working, Erin loves going to parks and exploring outdoors with her family. Traveling, good food, and sports all make her happy.
