Meet Jeannette, a Speech-Language Pathologist with the McKibben & Monte team in Columbus. Jeannette earned her Bachelor of Arts from The Ohio State University and her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Cincinnati. With specialties in articulation and receptive and expressive language delays/disorders, she is dedicated to helping children strengthen their communication skills and grow in confidence.
For Jeannette, the most rewarding part of her work is building lasting relationships with children and their families. She loves seeing language skills develop and confidence shine through with every milestone. Her passion for helping others, combined with her joy in working with children of all ages, inspired her to pursue speech pathology as a career.
When starting therapy with a new child, Jeannette focuses on creating a warm, supportive environment where the child feels comfortable and learning is fun. She finds it especially rewarding to hear from families that their children look forward to their sessions with her each week—proof that therapy has become both engaging and impactful.
Her favorite quote, “Every child is a story yet to be told,” reflects her belief in the unique potential of every child she works with. Jeannette’s favorite books include Love You Forever by Robert Munsch and The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein, both timeless stories about love, growth, and giving.
Outside of work, Jeannette enjoys spending time with family and friends, baking, and walking her dog, Chip. With her warm approach, expertise, and commitment to making therapy both effective and enjoyable, Jeannette is a valued member of the McKibben & Monte team.
