Mandie always wanted to be a teacher. But when she was in high school, Mandie spent time with a therapist just observing her work. It sparked something else inside her. She realized that therapy would allow her the opportunity to fulfill her desire to be a teacher and her desire to help people all at the same time.

Mandie’s favorite part about being a therapist is the fun and creativity she puts into it. She enjoys finding fun activities that focus on Speech Generating Devices and PROMPT (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets)

When she is not working, Mandie loves running, yoga, decorating, learning new things, making speech therapy materials for teachers pay teachers, and most importantly, spending time with her girls.
