Jourdan was inspired to become a therapist when her grandpa suffered a spinal cord injury after cancer treatment. Many skills she uses as a therapist are those her family utilized with her grandpa (planning ahead, environmental adaptations, accommodations, thinking creatively to make situations easier).
Jourdan loves the variety that occupational therapy offers. The kids always offer a challenge, and no two kids are alike!
When not working, Jourdan loves traveling, the water, reading, drinking coffee, running, and going to bootcamp.
